Personal Data

How Long We Keep Your Data

We do not keep your personal data for longer than necessary. Here is how long we keep different types of data:

Enquiry and contact data - deleted once your enquiry has been resolved, unless you have chosen to stay in touch with us.

Client and contract data - kept for 6 years after the end of a contract, as required by law.

Marketing data - kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it.

Payment records - kept for 6 years, as required by HMRC.

Website analytics data - kept for up to 14 months, in line with Google Analytics settings.

Lawful Basis for Processing

We only process your personal data when we have a valid reason to do so. The reason depends on why we are using it:

Contact and enquiry forms - we need your details to respond to your enquiry, or to take steps towards working with you.

Service delivery - we need your details to deliver the services you have asked us to provide.

Marketing and newsletters - we only send you marketing with your permission, which you can withdraw at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in any email or by contacting us at info@periculo.co.uk.

Website analytics (Google Analytics) - we use this to understand how people use our website so we can improve it. Where your permission is required, we will ask for it via our cookie banner.

Advertising (Google Ads) - we only use your data for advertising purposes with your permission, which is managed through our cookie banner.

Payment processing (Stripe) - we need your details to process payments for services you have purchased.

Registration of interest/contact forms

When you complete a contact form on our website, we collect your name, email address, and message so we can respond to your enquiry. Once your enquiry has been resolved, your contact details are deleted unless you choose to remain in contact with us.

Within the assessment platform

If you complete an assessment or request a quote through our site, we collect limited contact and organisational information to process your request. All data is stored securely within HubSpot, which meets strong technical and organisational security standards.

Processing of payments

We use Stripe for payment processing. Stripe is a secure, PCI DSS-compliant service provider. We do not store your payment card details on our systems.

Marketing / Newsletter

Throughout our website, you may choose to subscribe to receive newsletters, insights, or updates. We only collect the minimum information required (typically your email address) and provide an unsubscribe link in every email.

Marketing emails are managed through HubSpot, which tracks open and click-through data to help us measure engagement and improve content. If you wish to opt out or have your details removed, please email privacy@periculo.co.uk.

We also use Google Ads for advertising and remarketing purposes. Any data used for advertising is pseudonymised and managed through Google’s advertising platforms in accordance with their privacy policy.

HubSpot

Our website, CRM, contact forms, email marketing, and analytics are hosted and managed through HubSpot, a leading platform with strong security controls. We store business contact and lead information within HubSpot to manage enquiries, marketing preferences, and service delivery.

HubSpot provides encryption in transit and at rest, access controls, and an audited security framework aligned with ISO 27001 and NCSC best practice.

Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use our website, so we can improve it.
